Kimble the Turtle is a virtual hiking reptile. He has four legs and a shell, and travels on the trails in parks and scenic places. He believes in staying on the trails, and not trampling vegetation or cutting the switchbacks. He uses a Delorme PN/60w GPS and a Spot Personal Locator to track his journeys, and has a Nikon AW-110 camera, with WiFi and GPS built-in, to document the places he visits. Kimble has an account on geocaching.com as kimbletheturtle. When he is travelling the trails, you can find him on his Spot Account at this link.
You can visit his Facebook page, www.facebook.com/Kimbletheturtle. If you do, please give him a Like. It will really help his self-esteem, which is generally somewhat low in turtles due to the fact that they are not very fast or even pretty. And, he has tiny little beady eyes. Also, you can follow him on Twitter.com, @kimbletheturtle. He will probably follow you back, except if you have over 10K tweets. It really takes a lot of tweeting to get 10K+ tweets, and Kimble doesn't want to spammed by useless tweets from people who are so wanting attention that they tweet something every two or three minutes.
You will be able to see all of Kimble's adventures right here and by clicking the other links above. Kimble loves to visit the California coast, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and the Columbia River area. We will let you know what he is up to.
